Oatmeal & banana biscuits

To make these biscuits, you’ll need: 125 g oats, 2 large ripe bananas, 5 finely chopped dates (optional), 1 tsp cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Mash the bananas and thoroughly mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Shape the dough into small balls, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, and press each ball flat into biscuit shapes. Bake the oatmeal biscuits until they are a lovely golden brown, about 15 minutes.

Raw veggies with homemade hummus

To make the hummus, you’ll need: 400 g drained chickpeas, 2 tbsp tahini (sesame paste), 2 cloves garlic, the juice of half a lemon, 1/2 tsp ground cumin, pepper, salt, and olive oil. Pour all the ingredients into a food processor and blend to a smooth consistency. Serve with a rainbow of colourful vegetables, such as sweet pepper strips, cucumber batons, cauliflower, kohlrabi batons, cherry tomatoes, carrots, and celery. It’s a delicious late-afternoon snack – great for the kids too!

Seasonal fruit skewers

Cut the seasonal fruit into pieces (banana, mango, raspberries, kiwi, blueberries) and sprinkle with a little lemon juice. Arrange the fruit on wooden skewers in gorgeous colour combinations.

Frozen banana with chocolate

Peel a banana and slice it in half. Put the pieces in the freezer and leave until they are completely frozen. Coat both halves in melted dark chocolate. Then roll them in finely chopped nuts and seeds. Place the banana pieces back in the freezer.

Fresh fruit cones

Fill a bowl with sliced fresh fruit and take it to the office along with some empty ice cream cones. Your co-workers can fill their cones with the fruit they like best.

Sugar-free desserts

There’s no shortage of sugar-free desserts on the internet. For example, just try Googling apple crumble with ginger cream, sweet potato brownies, chocolate avocado cake, blueberry and blackberry clafoutis, or avocado lime cheesecake.
