Ideas for quick, nutritious snacks during your lunch walk

  • Whole-wheat bread with quark and banana slices. Why not take along some blue berries. This is a yummy combo.
  • Grain bread sandwich with nut paste, cucumber and pear.
  • Rye bread sandwich with roast beef, tomato and lamb’s lettuce.
  • Whole-wheat wrap with smoked salmon, avocado, sweet pepper
  • Whole-wheat wrap with hummus, corn and tomato
  • Salad with whole-wheat rice, cauliflower rice, slices of courgette or quinoa, vegetables, salmon, baked chicken breast or nuts.
  • Leftovers from previous day’s dinner.

Continue to fill your lunch box with a boiled egg, a handful of unsalted nuts, some cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, strips of sweet pepper, vegetables from the healthy candy pot, olives, some hummus to dip or a piece of fruit.

Always make sure that you have at least one whole-wheat product in your lunch box and combine this with vegetables and a protein source (chicken, lean meat, fish, hummus, nuts, cheese).
